Meditating Buddha with Gold Leaf : Detailed Acrylic & Mixed Media Painting Workshop

If you love rich colours, beautiful textures and a little bit of gold, I think you’re going to really enjoy painting this one with me. ✨

In this detailed Meditating Buddha with Gold Leaf workshop, we’ll create this peaceful Buddha surrounded by deep blues, jewel tones, expressive patterns, splatters and gorgeous touches of gold leaf.

What I love about this painting is that it gives you permission to play. We’re not trying to make every mark perfect. We’ll build the painting layer by layer, experiment with colour and texture, add patterns and finally bring everything together with gold leaf. Watching that gold transform the painting is one of my favourite parts!

This is a very detailed, pre-recorded workshop, so you can forget about trying to keep up. Pause me, rewind me, take a coffee break, leave it overnight and come back tomorrow , paint completely at your own pace.

And please don’t feel that you have to make yours look exactly like mine. Choose colours you love, change some of the patterns, play with your gold leaf and make your Buddha feel like your painting.
